Yes. Jinaq is made with the everyday needs of cats and dogs in mind, including skin that can range from normal to sensitive
How do I use the shampoo and mist together?
Use the shampoo first on bath days. Wet the coat thoroughly, massage the shampoo into the skin and coat, then rinse well and blow-dry completely. Once the coat is dry, spritz the mist evenly over the skin and coat, then brush through. Between baths, use the mist on a dry coat whenever needed to hydrate, refresh, soften and detangle

The Shampoo and Pet Mist work together as a two-step skin-first routine. At bath time, the Shampoo cleanses and conditions while supporting hydration, skin-barrier care and microbiome balance. Between baths, the leave-in Mist continues that care by hydrating, soothing and refreshing the skin while detangling and softening the coat.
Both products also help control unwanted odours without relying on fragrance alone, keeping your pet’s skin and coat comfortable, fresh and cared for from one bath to the next!
Are Jinaq products safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. Jinaq is made with the everyday needs of cats and dogs in mind, including skin that can range from normal to sensitive.
Do Jinaq products help with pet skin dryness and irritation?
Yes. Jinaq is designed to care for everyday signs of skin imbalance, such as dryness, excess oil, odour and occasional scratching or licking, provided the skin is intact. With regular use, its barrier- and microbiome-supporting ingredients help maintain a balanced, comfortable skin environment. Used as part of a regular routine, it supports the skin barrier and microbiome day to day, so those signs have less chance to show up in the first place.
Jinaq is not a treatment for medical skin conditions and should not be applied to open wounds or broken skin. If the signs are persistent, worsening or severe, please consult your vet
Is this safe for cats specifically?
Yes. Cats process ingredients differently than dogs, particularly through the liver, which is why essential oils are left out of every Jinaq formula. An IFRA-compliant fragrance stands in instead, and each formula is pH-balanced to match both cat and dog skin. The result is one bottle both cats and dogs can share safely.
What are Jinaq products free from?
SLS + SLES, parabens, phenoxyethanol, artificial colour, silicone, mineral oil, EDTA, ethanolamines (MEA/DEA/TEA), and phthalates. No essential oils either — see above for why.
How often can I use the shampoo and mist?
The Shampoo is formulated without SLS, SLES or other harsh surfactants, so it's gentle enough for regular use without stripping the skin barrier. We suggest once a week for consistent care.
The Mist can be used as often as your routine calls for. Being leave-in rather than rinse-off, it's intentionally built with more barrier lipid actives than the Shampoo, along with ingredients that hydrate, soothe and keep skin fresh between washes. Reaching for it often is exactly what it's made for.
